Creativity enables us to express some of our deepest emotions and thoughts. From joy to sorrow, loneliness to love, these are the things we each understand and experience throughout our lives within each moment. Photographic art enables us to express some things that we might never be able to quite put into words.....
Creative expression has always been an essential part of my life in some way, shape or form. Be it through design, writing, photography, or my primary work in therapeutic massage, expression has has helped me to create a bonding bridge with others during different moments throughout life. I find my personal meaning comes simply from the ablity to share these visions and moments that surround us. It allows me also, I suppose, to share a small piece of my inner-most self.
I have studied the art of photography over many years through various avenues. From classrooms to darkrooms..through piles of film rolls to hours of photoshop. The most valuable lessons I have learned, however, are from the many talented guides, mentors and friends that I have found along the way. They have been my greatest source of inspiration by far.
In this rapidly developing world of technology, with the constant evolution of new tools and improvements in digital imagery and graphics, the possibilities are seemingly endless. To me, this simply allows the boundaries of creative expression to be as boundless as the moments they carry within them, and even more brillant.
I hope you enjoy my sharing a small piece of my dreams, visions and self with you.
